unique-snowmanEveryone is familiar with the traditional-style snowman. They typically have a carrot nose, coal eyes and mouth, and perhaps a scarf and top hat. I refer to this snowman model as “The Frosty,” and it is on display throughout the houses and offices around the nation during the winter months.

Personally, I enjoy seeing people add their own personal touch to create a unique snowman. Many people in my neighborhood will dress their real snowman up in a costume or use unusual household items to fashion its features. My favorite snowman from last year was outfitted with a NFL jersey and a football helmet.

Oftentimes, the most memorable gifts are the ones that bring a knowing smile to a loved one’s face. Husbands and wives come to know each other so well that the slightest hint at an in-joke is usually enough to provoke laughter. Actions and gestures normally convey more than words. The best gifts work without any explanation, and a surprise present is a great way to show you care.

Many married couples joke about the game of golf – usually the man will do anything he can to log a little time out on the links, but sometimes the situation is reversed. Either way, golfing snowman dolls cut to the heart of the message: No matter the season, you really love your golf. These fluffy crafts make for a whimsical present that’s sure to brighten your significant other’s day.
